MvB Capital is an alternative investment firm based in Dallas, TX. Founded in 2022, MvB Capital focuses on short term options and equity trading strategies across multiple asset classes. Our goal is to create alpha for our investors, while minimizing risks and draw-downs. We employ a disciplined approach to the markets.

Risk management, and a disciplined trading approach is paramount in trading. As the saying goes: There are bold traders, and there are old traders. We continuously manage our portfolio, and do not often taken on overnight risk.
Maximilian von Brand
Maximilian von Brand is the founder and CIO of MvB Capital. He was born and raised in Germany and moved to the United States at the age of 20. He graduated cum laude from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in economics and accounting.
For the first 2 years of his career he worked in Mergers & Acquisition for KPMG, before moving into full time trading for First New York Securities, a New York based Hedge Fund, and proprietary trading firm. There, he specialized in international equity arbitrage, trading across various asset classes, and eventually becoming a partner at the firm. During his time there, he managed and actively traded a $20M book, focused on international equities arbitrage, currencies, futures and merger arbitrage. He was the top trader on the international desk in 2013, 2014, and 2015, and traded over 30-40M shares yearly across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
Overall, Maximilian has over 20 years of trading experience in various asset classes. He Has a passion for cars, and is the founder of the Lamborghini Club Dallas. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and scuba diving.
